I’ve been jobless since December when I graduated college, and this weekend I walked for my graduation. No real progress! I’m so mad and depressed at the same time! BAs don’t magically get people to want to hire you, somehow. And the degree I have is basically an English degree equivalent, so hah. No one understands it, and I don’t particularly care about what I studied anymore. I just need something to hold me up so I can move the hell out!
I spoke to my mother about this issue as I ended up breaking down today (lots of fun!). She suggested a multitude of things, including going into the military in some shape or form as they pay high for graduates and have excellent benefits. There are plenty of language programs, and I do regret not going to Japan, so I’m seriously considering that.
I also got the number of a commercial guy that I sent my resume to a month ago saying I should call. I had been doing some film work, but after the last gig I took, I’m not so sure this is for me. But hey, if I’ll get paid, it’s not the worst start.
Ok, that’s it. I’m caving today and putting in ME3 just so I can avoid getting the game any more spoiled for me than it already has. I’ll have to get back to my other play through on ME2 afterwards to keep me from going nuts.

I’ve never really considered myself much of a multitasker as I consider it inefficient, but lately I’ve noticed a compulsion to do it. Every time I go to watch a youtube video, I end up fiddling with my iPad and don’t even pay attention to what’s going on in the video. I open a tab for facebook, I end up opening another tab for tumblr or my email. Playing a game on steam, solitaire is also open.
What the crap is wrong with me? I can’t even enjoy my free time anymore!
I am determined to sit here and do just one thing on this computer and nothing else until I go to work today. I swear it!
